About us.
We adopted a small herd of Shetlands and very quickly fell in love with this breed. Shetlands are hardy, low maintenance, adaptable sheep. Our flock is pretty friendly, and we do our best to give them positive human interactions frequently. This makes them more manageable, easy to handle, and less stressed when we work with them. Most of our ewes have no problem with us being around their lambs and our Ram is very polite and friendly.
What we offer at Sweet Breeze Acres
We offer spring lambs every year. We have many options available and enjoy getting to personally know the lambs. We handle them often and want them to be easy to manage. We have had lambs adopted that do therapy, petting zoos, farm pets, breeding stock and more. We also occasionally have older ewes and rams available.
We also offer a verity of products from our Shetlands! We sell raw fleece, felted sheepskins, wool, yarn, batting and more! We have wonderful sheep that yield us such wonderful variety every season. I currently am working on our site where you can see our products available. But for now just reach out to see what we have to offer. We sell out fast! You are also welcome to meet the sheep that made your product if you come here to the farm!
